Kyle B. Peterson was born and raised in the middle of the flat Midwest and middle class. He moved east in 1999 to attend college at Harvard University. Since graduating in 2003, Kyle has lived in Seattle, WA, where he works as a software engineer at Amazon.com. Throughout his life, Kyle has been an active outdoorsman – Eagle Scout, rock and ice climber, and president of the Harvard Mountaineering Club. He currently spends most of his free time bumming around the Olympic Peninsula, sailing on the Puget Sound, and working on his first novel, The Education of a Boy, to be completed late 2007.
